- Customizing HYTELNET
-
- If you have your own copy of Hytelnet, it is very easy to customize the
- information in HYTELNET.
-
- 1. Changing an existing file
-
- Suppose, for example, you wish to add some information to the file for
- the Cleveland Public Library (US010) in the US0 subdirectory. Just load
- the file into your favourite word processor, edit it, and save it as a
- pure ASCII file.
-
- 2. Adding a new file
-
- To add a new file, first of all write it with your word processor, make
- sure you save it as pure ASCII, and then place it in the appropriate
- directory i.e. AT0, CN0, etc. Then add link(s) to your file in the
- appropriate country (and system) files. When adding the new file be sure
- to surround its name with the hypertext link characters i.e. <SITES1>.
